AS9100 required flow downs for suppliers:

a) All Suppliers must have a Quality System in place prior to accepting orders.

b) All Suppliers are monitored and graded monthly for performance. If supplier doesn't meet target goals a nonconformance shall be issued. Click here for details.

c) All Suppliers must ensure that persons are aware of:

  - their contribution to product or service conformity;

  - their contribution to product safety;

  - the importance of ethical behavior;

VAST Manufacturing Terms and Conditions for all purchase orders:

a) Supplier agrees all special requirements, inspection instructions and other relevant technical data noted on purchase order shall flow down to sub-tier Suppliers

b) Supplier shall provide a certificate of conformance as verification all requirements for test, inspection, process or product verification, critical items, key characteristics and related instructions have been met

c) Supplier shall notify Vast Manufacturing of nonconforming product or service even after product or service has been delivered

d) Supplier to notify Vast Manufacturing of changes in their product or service and/or process definition, changes of Suppliers, changes of manufacturing location, and where required, obtain written approval from Buyer prior to delivery

e) Supplier shall retain records of purchase order (7 years minimum)

f) Supplier shall grant right of access by Vast Manufacturing, its Customer and regulatory authorities to applicable areas of all facilities at any level of supply-chain involved in the order and to all applicable records retained by Supplier.

g) Supplier shall prevent the use of counterfeit parts.

h) Supplier shall use customer designated or approved external providers, including process sources - when required on purchase order.

i) Supplier shall provide test specimens for design approval, inspection/verification, investigation or auditing - when required on purchase order.
